Bill Date Logic: The system generates bills on the 13th of every month. Tenants can generate bills with actual readings on this date. If readings aren't provided by the 13th, the system automatically generates estimate bills.
Meter Management: Each tenant has separate electricity and water meters. The system automatically tracks reading history. When you enter a reading for a meter, it remembers it for the next bill cycle (previous reading is auto-filled).
Shared Meters: Multiple tenants can share the same meter - the system handles this transparently. Each tenant's reading history is separate.
Payment Tracking: All bills are marked as unpaid when generated. You can manually mark them as paid, and the dashboard shows your payment status.
Estimate Bills: If readings aren't provided by the 13th, both electricity and water bills are generated with estimates. These are clearly marked as "ESTIMATE" on the bill.
Usage Graphs: Both versions include professional charts showing consumption trends over time for each tenant.
Step 1: Setup (2 minutes)
Open either the web or mobile version, go to Settings, and enter your company information (name, address, phone). Optionally upload your company logo.
Step 2: Add Tenants (1 minute per tenant)
Go to Tenants tab and add each tenant with their name, apartment unit, address, phone, and meter numbers. Meter numbers are required unless it's the tenant's first bill.
Step 3: Generate Bills (Only on 13th)
On the 13th of each month, go to the Bills tab. The generate button becomes active only on this date. Select a tenant and bill type. If it's their first bill, enter the starting meter reading. If not, it auto-fills. Enter the current reading (or leave blank for estimate) and generate the bill.
Step 4: Export & Track
View bills in the History tab. Mark them as paid when payment is received. Export to PDF if needed. The Dashboard shows your monthly summary with payment status and usage graphs.
Bill Information: Every bill displays tenant name, apartment unit, address, phone number, meter number, bill number, current and previous meter readings, usage amount, detailed charges breakdown, and usage graphs showing consumption trends.
Dashboard: Statistics cards show total bills, paid count, unpaid count, and revenue for the current month. Tenant cards display individual balances and payment status. Professional charts visualize usage patterns across all tenants.
Payment Tracking: Easily see which bills are paid vs unpaid. The system automatically calculates due date (5 days after bill date) and alerts for overdue payments.
Use Web Version (app.html) if: You have a computer/laptop/tablet. You want full analytics and comprehensive graphs. You need to perform bulk operations. You want to export bills to PDF easily. You need the complete dashboard with all features.

Pro Tip: You can use both! The web and mobile versions share the same data (stored in browser's local storage). Switch between them freely - your data syncs automatically.
All data is stored locally in your browser using "Local Storage". This means:
